About Us
Professional Coastal Tree Service in Englewood, FL
Panorama Tree Care has been a family-run business since 2000, and Englewood, the laid-back beach town overlooking Lemon Bay, is one of our favorite stretches of the Gulf coast to work.
Englewood sat in the path of two major storms, Hurricane Ian in 2022 and Hurricane Milton in 2024, and when a storm like that snaps a limb or topples a tree toward your roof, you want an arborist who responds fast and safely.
We help you prepare and recover, shaping and bracing canopies before the season and clearing damage 24/7 after, from Manasota Key and Englewood Beach to the neighborhoods near Dearborn Street.
Coastal trees here fight salt spray, sandy soil and a high water table, the area’s sabal palms face the spread of Lethal Bronzing disease, and mangroves along Lemon Bay are protected by Florida law. Our arborists handle it all.
Englewood straddles two counties; on the Sarasota County side, tree removal follows Sarasota County’s tree code and its Grand Tree protections. We handle the correct permits whichever side of the line you’re on.
You always deal directly with a certified arborist (ISA #FL-9569A), never a call center, backed by more than 24,000 completed projects across the region.
We serve the Sarasota County side of Englewood, ZIP code 34223, from Manasota Key and Englewood Beach to Dearborn Street and the Lemon Bay communities.

Our Services
Residential & Commercial Tree Services in Englewood, FL
We provide complete tree care built for Englewood’s coastal conditions, salt exposure, sandy soil, mangrove-lined Lemon Bay and hurricane wind. From a single storm-damaged tree to full waterfront canopy care, here’s how we help.
Tree Removal
Sandy, salt-influenced soil and a high water table leave even healthy Englewood oaks and palms prone to leaning and uprooting. We use company-owned cranes to lift hazardous trees out cleanly, protecting seawalls, pavers, pools and roofs below.
We follow ANSI A300 standards to thin and structurally prune coastal live oaks, sea grapes and palms, reducing wind resistance ahead of hurricane season so your canopy is far less likely to fail when a storm comes off the Gulf.
Our grinders chase roots well below grade so old stumps don’t resprout or attract pests in Englewood’s damp, sandy soil. We backfill and prep the spot for replanting or new sod when we’re done.
Mangrove Trimming & Coastal Permitting
Mangroves along Lemon Bay and the Intracoastal are protected under Florida law and Sarasota County rules. Our professional trimmers preserve your water view and dock access while keeping every cut within the six-foot rule and properly permitted.
Tree Risk Assessment and Health Diagnosis
Our TRAQ-qualified arborists use advanced diagnostics to find hidden decay, salt damage and storm cracking inside mature oaks and palms, damage common after hurricanes like Ian and Milton but invisible from the ground, then give you a clear, honest plan.
Deep Root Fertilization & Injection
Englewood’s sandy, salt-stressed soil leaves trees short on nutrients. We inject custom, slow-release fertilizer to the root zone to rebuild vigor in struggling oaks, magnolias and palms near the coast.
Commercial & HOA Tree Management
We offer scalable maintenance plans for Englewood condo associations, resorts and HOAs, from Manasota Key to the communities near Dearborn Street, keeping canopies safe, clear and compliant year round.
24/7 Emergency Storm Response
When storms hit the coast, as Hurricanes Ian and Milton did, our pre-staged crews respond around the clock to clear roads, lift trees off homes, and make Englewood properties safe, fast.
Root Barrier & Foundation Protection
To stop aggressive oak and ficus roots from cracking slabs, pool decks and seawalls without killing the tree, we install subterranean root barriers, a smart fix for Englewood’s sandy coastal lots.
Tree Relocation & Transplanting
Using hydraulic tree spades, we relocate healthy palms and specimen trees to better spots on your property, useful when a remodel or new pool would otherwise force removal of a tree worth saving.
Cable and Bracing (Structural Support)
Many of Englewood’s mature oaks carry heavy, co-dominant limbs that split in high coastal wind. We install cables and braces to support weak unions and extend the life of trees that would otherwise have to come down.
Permit Guide
Do You Need a Permit to Remove a Tree in Englewood?
Usually, yes. On the Sarasota County side of Englewood, tree removal follows Sarasota County’s tree code (Chapter 54, Article XVIII), which requires a permit to remove or relocate most trees, while routine trimming generally doesn’t unless the tree is on a Canopy Road or right-of-way. Mangroves along Lemon Bay carry their own Florida protections. As ISA Certified Arborists, we handle the assessment and paperwork for you.
When a Permit Is Required
Sarasota County requires a permit to remove or relocate most trees on your property, though basic trimming usually does not, unless the tree sits on a designated Canopy Road or public right-of-way.
Grand Trees Are Protected
The County designates the largest specimens of 12 native species, live oak, bald cypress, hickory, pine and more, as Grand Trees based on a points score for trunk size, height and spread. Removing one needs a county permit and strong justification, so we work to preserve them first.
Mangroves & Coastal Rules
Mangroves along the Intracoastal and Lemon Bay are protected under Florida law, with no cut below six feet and a professional trimmer required for larger jobs. Codes change and vary by lot, so we confirm the current Sarasota County rules for your property before any work.
Why We’re Englewood’s Trusted Tree Service
Tree work is high-risk, especially around homes, seawalls, power lines and water. We manage that risk with strict safety standards, real certifications and full insurance, so the liability never lands on you.
Workers' Compensation Insurance
We carry full workers’ compensation. If a crew member is hurt on your Englewood property, we’re liable, not you, unlike many cut-rate operators who leave you exposed.
ANSI A300 & Z133 Standards
Every cut and climb follows the national ANSI A300 and Z133 standards for professional tree care and crew safety.
TRAQ Qualified
Our hazard evaluations are backed by the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, the industry gold standard for judging risky trees.
Grand Tree & Permit Experts
We work within Sarasota County’s tree code, including its Grand Tree rules, and Florida’s mangrove law, so every removal is handled legally, permitted correctly and properly mitigated.

Englewood Homeowners Who Trust Panorama Tree Care
Hear from real customers about their experience with our crews. From hurricane cleanup to careful coastal palm and oak work, our commitment to safe, tidy, professional service is why people across the region keep calling us back.

Everything was done very professionally. Tony came to our house to give us the estimate and the price at the end was exactly what he quoted. Within 1 week he had a date scheduled for us and the underground cables were marked. He called the day before to confirm the time the workers would be at the house. The day of the job he called ahead to let me know they were on their way. There was no way we could tell there were 3 huge palms in our yard earlier. They even moved some of the other plants out of the way and then replanted them. We are very pleased and would use them again and recommend them to others.

Tony arrived on that afternoon and told me they could prune the two large sego palms. He said he would go back and look at their schedule and call me with a date when they could do the work. They arrived on time, pruned the two palms and removed a dead branch on a tree hanging over the house. They were very professional in all the work and cleaned up all of the debris.

Left an email for a quote and Tony came out the next day and gave me a quote. The work was performed the next day. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They did a good job and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I had a large reclinata palm that they trimmed and a large stand of paurotis palms that had been cut down, and I needed the stumps ground down.
