Our Services
Residential & Commercial Tree Services in Gulf Gate Estates, FL
From removing a single hazardous tree to caring for an entire canopy, we cover the full range of professional tree services. Here is how we help.
Tree Removal
Whether a tree is dead, storm-damaged or simply in the wrong place, we remove it with care. Cranes and controlled rigging let us work over tight lots without harming roofs, pools or fences.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Proper pruning keeps trees healthy and safe. We follow ANSI A300 standards to remove deadwood, balance the canopy and reduce wind resistance before storm season.
Stump Grinding & Removal
We grind stumps well below the surface so they never resprout or draw pests, then backfill and smooth the area so it is ready for sod, mulch or replanting.
Tree Permit & Grand Tree Compliance
Most tree removals require a permit before the first cut. We take care of the paperwork, protected tree reviews and any required mitigation so the entire job is done legally.
Tree Risk Assessment and Health Diagnosis
A tree can look fine and still be failing inside. Our TRAQ-qualified arborists check for hidden decay and structural cracks, then explain clearly what should be pruned, braced or removed.
Deep Root Fertilization & Injection
Our deep root fertilization program injects slow-release nutrients directly where roots absorb them, restoring health and steady growth to stressed or fading trees.
Commercial & HOA Tree Management
We build year-round tree care plans for HOAs, condo associations and commercial properties, handling everything from routine trimming to hazard removal on a schedule that fits.
24/7 Emergency Storm Response
When severe weather brings limbs or whole trees down, help is one call away. Our crews respond fast, day or night, to lift trees off structures, clear access and make the property safe.
Root Barrier & Foundation Protection
Root barriers stop invasive roots before they reach slabs, pool decks and plumbing. We install them below ground so the tree keeps growing while your hardscape stays intact.
Tree Relocation & Transplanting
A healthy tree does not have to be lost to a remodel. Using hydraulic tree spades, we transplant palms and specimen trees to a better location on your property.
Cable and Bracing (Structural Support)
Heavy limbs and co-dominant trunks can split under load. We install discreet cables and braces that support weak points and extend the safe life of mature trees.

Permit Guide
Do You Need a Permit to Remove a Tree in Gulf Gate Estates?
Usually, yes. Because Gulf Gate Estates and nearby South Gate Ridge and Ridge Wood Heights are unincorporated, tree removal follows Sarasota County’s tree code (Chapter 54, Article XVIII), which requires a permit to remove or relocate most trees, while routine trimming generally doesn’t unless the tree is on a Canopy Road or right-of-way. As ISA Certified Arborist-led crews, we handle the assessment and paperwork for you.
When a Permit Is Required
Sarasota County requires a permit to remove or relocate most trees on your property, though basic trimming usually does not, unless the tree sits on a designated Canopy Road or public right-of-way.
Grand Trees Are Protected
The County designates the largest specimens of 12 native species, live oak, bald cypress, hickory, pine and more, as Grand Trees based on a points score for trunk size, height and spread. Removing one needs a county permit and strong justification, so we work to preserve them first.
Storm Cleanup & Mitigation
After a storm, dead or genuinely hazardous trees can usually be cleared without delay, but healthy protected trees still call for replacement or mitigation. Codes change and vary by lot, so we confirm the current Sarasota County rules for your property before any work.

Gulf Gate Estates Homeowners Who Trust Panorama Tree Care
Donβt just take our word for it, hear from your neighbors. From routine trimming to emergency storm damage, local homeowners trust Panorama Tree Care to protect their biggest assets. The reviews below show what working with us is really like.

I called Panorama to get a bid on removing a large (grand) Laurel Oak tree that was rotting and hanging over our home. They scheduled Tony Padgett to meet me at home on a Saturday and he showed up right at the scheduled time. He explained exactly what they would do and gave me what I considered to be a fair price. I chose Tony because he seemed very knowledgeable and practical about what needed to be done, and he said they would attempt to minimize damage to the area surrounding the tree. His men came out and removed the tree and everything went just as promised. They were prompt, professional and neat and went the extra mile to minimize damage to my lawn and the surrounding area. Everything went as well as I could hope with no surprises and I would not hesitate to call them again.

I am usually a pretty harsh critic, and I have used many off Angie's list, but I have not been as happy with the work done as with Panorama. I gave them an A in all the categories, which I have not done before. But they sincerely did a great job with our trees, and we are very happy with the finished product.

Their price is very affordable. I had another company quoted about the same price but they said they won't remove stump. So I chose Panorama. They came and did the job while I'm not home, but everything came out perfect. Tony is very nice and very responsive. I referred them to my friend. And definitely recommend everyone to give them a call.
FAQs
Gulf Gate Estates Tree Service: Frequently Asked Questions
Can you handle emergency storm damage after a hurricane?
Yes, we respond 24/7. Hurricane Milton came ashore on nearby Siesta Key in 2024, just two weeks after Helene, and our pre-staged crews cleared roads and lifted trees off homes across Gulf Gate.
Can you safely remove a large oak close to my house?
Yes. Our crews use company-owned cranes and rigging to dismantle big oaks piece by piece over tight spaces, protecting your roof, pool cage and driveway. If the oak qualifies as a protected Grand Tree, we handle the Sarasota County permit and any mitigation first.
